Alwyn's Journey to Wellness retreat was an amazing day that I would recommend to anyone. It really helped me gain a new perspective on the importance of taking care of my own health and wellbeing, both mental and physical. Through the day Alwyn taught how acts of self care such as qigong, meditation, good nutrition can transform your mindset and emotions and change your day to day experience of life for the better.

I had the pleasure of attending one of Alwyn's amazing "Journey to Wellbeing" retreats. It was a very enjoyable, relaxing experience, and I loved learning about the meaning and history of Qigong and how to practice it at home. Alwyn is very passionate and calming, who clearly enjoys and incorporates the practice into her daily life. There is a great structure to the day, she clearly explains all the steps and I felt amazing afterwards.
I really enjoyed the retreat Journey to Wellbeing held by Awlyn.It was a beautiful calm athmosphere.Awlyn gave excellent Guided meditations and gentle Qigong movements.I would highly recomend this experience as i feel i have benefited positively from this retreat
have been to 2 of Alwyn’s day retreats and I’m so looking forward to the next one, Journey to Enrichment Meditation Day Retreat. Taking this time for myself is the best investment I’ve made in myself in many many years…… it’s something you don’t think you need, until you do it and then you’re hooked. It’s such a gorgeous way to spend a day with such a lovely group, most of us were there on our own so it was great to meet such warm, kind, gentle, like minded people( the energy and feeling in the room was beautiful). Alwyn has a true gift of connecting with people, she makes you feel safe, nurtured, comfortable and at ease in what was initially something outside my comfort zone. Alwyn is a natural facilitator, is so knowledgeable and her enthusiasm and genuine love for what she does is infectious. I left both retreats entirely relaxed, refueled, full of gratitude and with an arsenal of self-care tools ready to face my challenges. I’m really looking forward to learning to mediate (effectively without getting distracted)😉
I attended the journey to wellbeing retreat with Alwyn and some fabulous women last March, and what an energising yet restful, zen-like day I had! Alwyn is a gifted teacher who took us through the Qigong movements in a patient, gentle way. I was well able to do all of the postures, despite always being the most awkward and mal co-ordinated person in any room!😂 Alwyn gave an explanation for each of the postures before breaking down each one into bite sized pieces. I was converted to Qigong that day... We also did some beautiful breath-work and meditation that had me floating home at the end of the day... I had a truly gorgeous time and reaped the benefits for weeks afterwards...oh and did I mention the delicious, healthy lunch and snacks?!
The Journey to Wellness retreat was a beautiful day and wonderful gift to give yourself. Alwyn is amazing & her knowledge is incredible. The Qigong movements & guided relaxation meditation have you feeling like a new woman by the end of the day. Looking forward to attending the next retreat💖🙏🏻
I recently had the pleasure of attending Alwyn’s ‘Journey to Wellbeing’ retreat day and it was wonderful. Alwyn has such a wonderful calming presence that from the moment the workshop started, I felt the day was about focusing on myself and trying to achieve balance in this crazy world. There was a great structure to the day explaining how to make my days easier and ensuring I was always a priority in my day to day life. This combined with such beautuful Qi-Qong practices made a wonderful experience that I will bring into my daily routine. I’m very much looking forward to the next one!!! Thank u Alwyn.
What an amazing Retreat, best I have ever attended .Alwyn delievered it so passionately. Everyone one of us was able to follow her steps easily because she explained it so clearly. I am so looking forward to her next retreat, I felt so much lighter the following week after the fabulous day plus I came away with tools that I will use daily & especially in challenging times, thanks to Alwyn.
I first joined Alwyn’s chi-gong classes in person pre Covid and absolutely loved them , I found a great differance in my mood and flexibility snd was a much more positive , vibrant person. There is a great release of emotions through these chi-gong classes which I was actually blown away by as I couldn’t believe the emotional release I myself experienced. Since Covid I have been doing Alwyn’s online classes , being in the hair industry I suffer regular pain with my neck and shoulders and more recently my lower back . I find these chi-gong classes great to release tension within my body and help me to loosen out . The classes are extremely well structured and very easy to follow . It’s also a great workout and relaxing at the same time . There’s a lovely vibe from behind that computer screen , and you come away feeling both energised and relaxed ♥️
Absolutely love Alwyn’s qigong classes. Thanks started qigong with Alwyn as a way to calm my mind and help with shoulder and back pain…., what a transformation! I now practice qigong to not only manage my back pain but for its calming effect on my mind and body. You really have to experience a class to understand how well it works. It’s always enjoyable as the moves are so gentle and flowing. Thanks Alywn for introducing qigong into my life x
Alwyn is an amazing and very gifted practitioner. I wasn't sure what Qigong involved but Alwyn, an inspiring teacher was absolutely fantastic. The classes definitely helped with my flexibility, it was gentle and manageable. The meditation afterwards was so relaxing. I would highly recommend Alwyn and encourage others to give Qigong a try.
